How To Proceed With Troubleshooting
HINT.
- Use the following procedures to troubleshoot the cruise control system.
- *: Use a Techstream.
- VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP
- INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE
Standard voltage:
11 to 14 V
If the voltage is below 11V, recharge or replace the battery before proceeding.
- CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM*
- Use the Techstream to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.

- Use the Techstream to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.
- CHECK INDICATOR
- Check the indicator (see TERMINALS OF ECM ).
- CHECK FOR DTC*
- Check for DTCs (see FAIL-SAFE CHART ).
- Clear the DTCs (see FAIL-SAFE CHART ).
- Recheck for DTCs (see FAIL-SAFE CHART
).
