Component Locations

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Subaru Impreza. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
CAUTION: Before disassembling or reassembling the parts, always disconnect the battery ground cable. When repairing the radio, control module, etc., which are provided with memory functions, record thememory contents before disconnecting battery ground cable. Otherwise, these contents are cancelled upon disconnection.

Reassemble the parts in reverse order of disassembly procedure, unless otherwise indicated.

Adjust the parts to the specifications contained in this manual if so designated.

Connect the connectors and hoses securely during reassembly.

After reassembly, ensure the functional parts operate smoothly.

The airbag system wiring harness is routed near the electrical parts and switch.

All airbag system wiring harness and connectors are colored YELLOW. Do not use the electrical test equipment on these circuits.

Be careful not to damage the airbag system wiring harness when servicing the ignition key cylinder.

Integrated Relay Behind left side of dash
Keyless Entry Control Module Behind left side of dash
Main Fuse Box On left side of engine compartment
Passive Arm Connector On driver side front lower pillar, near wheel
Security Control Module Behind right side of dash
Security Horn Relay Behind left side of dash
Security Indicator Light In combination meter
