Battery Capacity Check
Open remote transmitter and remove batteries. Connect 2 new 1.5-volt dry-cell batteries in series. See Fig 1. Connect battery positive terminal to battery receptacle side terminal and battery negative terminal to bottom terminal to provide 3 volts to remote transmitter. Attempt to operate door lock by remote transmitter. If door locks operate, replace batteries. If door locks do not operate, replace remote transmitter and reprogram.
