Front Short Range Radar Removal And Installation/Replacement

Mobile Repair Possible:  No

Removal Procedure: 

The procedure for the left-hand component is identical to that for the right-hand side. 

1. Remove front bumper fascia. Refer to FRONT BUMPER FASCIA REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
2. Unlock and disconnect electrical connector (1).
3. Remove 2 screws (1).

   Torque: 1.2 Nm 

4. Carefully release latches at the marked area with a screwdriver in the direction of the arrow and remove the range radar (1) out of the bracket.

Replacement Procedure: 

1. Calibrate the front corner short range radar. Refer to FRONT SHORT RANGE RADAR CALIBRATION

Installation Procedure: 

1. Installation is the reverse of removal procedure, noting the following.

   All fasteners must be tightened to torque specification! 

2. Install front bumper fascia. Refer to FRONT BUMPER FASCIA REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
3. Diagnostics, Programming and Setup. Refer to DIAGNOSTICS, PROGRAMMING AND SETUP USING IDS IN SERVICE
