Windshield Wiper Test 7A - Wiper Does Not Work After Wash Button Is Pressed

NOTE: Perform POWER WINDOW TEST 1A  before proceeding. For connector terminal ID, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION  and WIRING DIAGRAM. See WIPER/WASHER SYSTEM article. Perform TEST VER-1A  after each repair.
CAUTION: Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting any module connector. Ensure all connectors are clean and tight.

Turn ignition on. If windshield washers do not work, repair as required. If windshield washers work, access BODY COMPUTER WIPER MONITOR using scan tool. Press wash button. If scan tool displays intermittent wiper voltage of about 12 volts, replace body control module. If scan tool does not display intermittent wiper voltage of about 12 volts, repair open washer pump sense circuit.
