Test 15: Central Locking System Safety Switch Time

Disconnect Pneumatic System Equipment (PSE) control module pneumatic connector. See VACUUM DIAGRAMS . Cap all pneumatic ports except TF, BFT and CL on PSE control module. See Figure, Figure or Figure . Close all doors. Press interior central locking switch to unlock position. If vacuum pump in PSE control module runs for approximately 10 seconds, central locking system safety switch time is functioning properly. If vacuum pump in PSE control module does not run for approximately 10 seconds, check the following as possible cause and repair as necessary:

• Perform central locking system TEST 1: INTERIOR CENTRAL LOCKING SWITCH (SLK230). See CENTRAL LOCKING under SYSTEM TESTS .
• Suspect faulty PSE control module.
